Cometec Argentina S.A., was established in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 2010 and started working on 1st April, 2011.

Our services are performed according to relevant international recognized standards such as ISO, FOSFA, GAFTA and SENASA, we are part of Cometec International Group which fulfills the requirements according to standards with the competence of Goods Quality Inspection and Assessment Services.

Cometec International Group Members are selected, monitored and governed by the global Head Office in Livorno, Italy to ensure the best and most constant performance to international requirements.

Cometec Argentina S.A. is working in the field of our profession according to Cometec International´s Code of Compliance and the General Terms of Business. It is an independent international inspection Company protecting the interests of its clients everywhere.

The Argentina branch has its head office in Buenos Aires, where the commercial staff, accounting and administration are located. Our operational head office is based in the city of Rosario, from where about 70% of the grains and derivatives are shipped.

Additionally, there is one office on each of the southern ports of Necochea and Bahia Blanca.
Cometec Argentina S.A. is a medium size company, handling each year an increasing quantity of agricommodities, among them: wheat, barley, sorghum, maize, rape seed, soya beans, soya meal, soya oil, sunflowerseed oil, safflowerseed oil, meatbone meal and general cargo in containers.
